FW20 Collection: Miles Richie stars in the campaign of the new collection.
Miles Richie, model and son of soul legend Lionel Richie, is joining his sisters Sofia and Nicole Richie into the fashion world as the face of MARCELL VON BERLIN‘s Fall/ Winter 2020 Collection.
Designer Marcell Pustul and Miles Richie met at the re-opening party of the MARCELL VON BERLIN flagship store in Los Angeles, as Miles Richie accompanied his sister Sofia Richie there. “I immediately felt a connection to the brand”, says Miles. “Marcell opening up in LA was so exciting for me. His boutique is on such an iconic block in Weho. I saw his product and knew I wanted to work with him.”
Both knew from the beginning that they wanted to work together for the new MARCELL VON BERLIN Fall/ Winter 20 Collection. “Miles is a very special type of person,” says designer Marcell Pustul. “I love his look, which for me symbolizes L.A., but at the same time radiates that typical Berlin coolness, which is why Miles is a perfect match for the brand and new collection!”
The Fall/Winter 2020 Collection fuses the artsy aesthetic of Berlin with the relaxed vibe of Los Angeles – an homage to designer Marcell Pustul’s residences.
“I really loved the experience of working on this new MARCELL VON BERLIN campaign.”, says Miles. “Many of the pieces I got to wear, like the leopard print shirt, really complimented my style. The entire collection gave me a feeling of confidence and I loved this season’s LA vibe. My favorite piece from the collection was the silk shirt I had the pleasure of wearing in the campaign. It’s wearable year round and can be worn in so many diverse ways.”
